Hawaii Five-0

ALOHA HAWAII! Goodness graciousness, looking over these pictures again makes me miss my time in Hawaii even more. From the moment I got off the plane I felt an unbelievable amount of love, which did not stop the whole time I was there. From every titleholder, board member, and golfer I met, I was given the most genuine hugs and sweetest smiles.

Now I may have gone over board on the pictures here, but the blues were so blue and there is no way I could leave anything out.

So the trip begins…

As soon as I landed my sweet Miss Hawaii Allison Chu took me on a hike to see a waterfall. It was surreal and raining, the perfect way to start my Hawaiian adventures.

Allison probably could’ve made this hike barefoot, where as I was struggling with tennis shoes.

Just so happy.

Kind of, sort of had a mini photo-shoot.

On the way back down the hike, a rainbow appeared over the mountains. How in the world. Heaven on Earth.

After our hike we got to have dinner with Miss Hawaii’s Outstanding Teen (pictured here dancing the hula oh so beautifully), Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, and the Miss Hawaii Board. Such a perfect and wonderful night filled with good conversation and laughter.

The next morning, because of the time change, I got up around six in the morning, watched the sunrise, and ate breakfast. Again, Heaven on Earth.

On our way to the golf tournament, there were flowers for days.

Sister, sister.

Trying to take as many flowers as I can with me.

All of the amazing and inspiring Miss Hawaii local titleholders! It was so special to see them interacting with everyone at the golf tournament.

After the golf tournament Allison took me to one of her favorite beaches, Makapu’u Beach.

Flower crowns, we had to.

When they told me I only had one more day left..

Not a drill, kale banana ice cream served in a papaya bowl. #SavvyChoices approved.

So thankful I got to spend this weekend with my sister MAOTeen. Watching her do her job with such grace and joy made me a ridiculously proud older sister, and I miss her so much already.

^haha.

Day Two I got to attend the Hoolaulea Festival, and naturally went to the arts and crafts table.

Hawaii overall was more than I could’ve dreamed. From the people to the landscape I was inspired. The food was so fresh (#eatbetterlivebetter), the hiking felt like Jurassic park (#missamericawerk),  and the time I spent on the beach was more than rejuvenating (#thereshepassesout).

Forever thankful I got to spend time with our loving and wonderful Miss Hawaii. If you have met Allison you know her love for life and love for people exude her like rays of sunshine. She is a blessing to all she meets and I am so proud to call her my sister. A week later I am still feeling the love from the beautiful souls of the Miss Hawaii Organization, and I miss them dearly.

So I pressed the leis in my journal and forever in my heart. So thankful for my time spent in the Aloha State. Counting the days until I get to return.

Much love and Aloha,

I have been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever before.
